This program provided an overview of audio basics, focusing on basic signal flow and the fundamental tools used in recording. Topics included a brief history and overview of recording, recording basics, the audio map, introduction to microphone types, basics of digital audio, etc. Participants learned to set up and operate basic audio equipment, troubleshoot common issues, and the principles of creating balanced, high-quality sound.Â

A versatile multi-instrumentalist, originally hailing from the picturesque island of Antigua but spending most of his life in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. He is deeply rooted in a musical upbringing that began in the church, influenced by his father's musical talents, Samuel's passion for music blossomed from a young age.
Graduating from Berklee School of Music in 2019 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Music Studies, Sam has served as a Music Director for various shows and groups, including his own ensemble, 'La Voix.' He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Marvin Sapp and Pressure Busspipe, honing his craft in multiple genres and instruments.
With a diverse skill set that extends to music production and recording engineering, Samuel now thrives as a Studio Engineer at WiStudios, while also pursuing his artistry as a producer, recording engineer, and musician. His debut single 'Cruising,' released in November 2023, signifies the beginning of his creative journey. Samuel's musical endeavors are driven by a desire to channel emotions into his compositions, aiming to deliver top-notch musical experiences worldwide.
Currently involved in various projects within the Virgin Islands, Samuel envisions expanding his musical footprint globally, advocating for artistic excellence in the Caribbean music scene.
